Lake Cleanup Day will be held June 19 in the Minnesota lakes country, co-sponsored by Crystal-Pierz Marine and Minnesota Lakes Association.
Crystal-Pierz Marine will provide trash bags and boats for participants to assist in cleaning the islands, lake bottoms and shorelines.
Experts will also be on hand to educate the public on the "Three Ms" - milfoil, mussels and motorboats.
Volunteers will meet at 11 Crystal-Pierz Marine locations for instructions, lunch and bags; the lake association will also provide cleanup kits.
