ST. PAUL - Veterans organizations from Minnesota and the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs are teaming up for what is expected to be the largest Vietnam veteran event in Minnesota history.
Thousands of veterans, families, friends and supporters will gather June 13 on the Minnesota State Capitol grounds to honor and remember all veterans who served during the Vietnam era.
Sponsored by the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs, this event is designed to unite the Minnesota community in support, gratitude and celebration of the men and women who served during the Vietnam War era.
The event, which is free and open to the public, will feature guest speakers, music, memorabilia and food. A replica of the National Vietnam Memorial will also be on display.
