Preliminary 2006 Minnesota traffic death figures reflect67 fewer deaths than in 2005, according to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety.
The current 2006 death count, which estimates a 12 percent decrease from 2005, is the lowest number of annual traffic deaths recorded in the state since 1945.
