WAHPETON, N.D. — A Wahpeton woman who had reportedly gone missing Thursday, Dec. 31, has returned home, the Wahpeton Police Department announced Friday morning, Jan. 1.
Sixty six-year-old Janet Faye Nelson had last been heard from at approximately noon on New Year's Eve. Nelson was en route to Fargo in a maroon 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
Nelson's cell phone had most recently been located at 1:36 a.m. Jan. 1, in Fargo, before she returned home safely later that morning.
