Detroit Lakes (Minn.) author Jehu David McJunkin has written, "A Missouri River Tale," for children.
McJunkin wrote and illustrated the 48-page hardcover book. His stepdaughter, Amelia Wethern, Moorhead, is publisher and co-author of the story about life along the river for the animal characters.
"A Missouri River Tale" is available from B. Dalton at West Acres shopping center in Fargo for $12.95.
