Two 18-year-olds are in Clay County Jail after police responded early
Sunday morning to a report of two individuals going into parked vehicles, says a release from the Moorhead Police Department.
Officers found two adult male subjects, Adam James Fogel and Christopher Jeremy Lee Gomez, going from vehicle to vehicle checking doors and entering unlocked vehicles, according to the release.
The subsequent investigation indicated about 30 to 50 vehicles may have been tampered with and/or entered. Those automobiles were located in an area covering 10th Avenue North to 13th Avenue North on 15th, 15½ and 16th Streets. Residents in that area are asked to check their vehicles and contact the police department to report any damage or missing items.
Fogel and Gomez are being held on charges including minor consuming, theft and possessing stolen property, the release says.
