The intersection of Ninth Street North and Seventh Avenue in Moorhead will close at 7 a.m. Wednesday.
A release from the Moorhead Engineering Office said installation of a "flood control structure" prompted the closure.
The intersection is expected to open again to traffic sometime mid-morning on Friday.
The engineering office provided no other details.
