FARGO-The Moorhead Public Library, 118 5th St. S., is hosting its Friends of the Moorhead Library used book sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, March 31, and Saturday, April 1. Used books and other materials will be available, with all proceeds supporting the library.
Other events are also coming up at the library. The library has launched a new program called "Ask a Techspert" at 2 p.m. Mondays when the public is welcome to visit the library's computer lab to practice technology skills with assistance from staff members.
Kids who are interested in joining the library's Book Club for Kids should begin reading "Mummies in the Morning," by Mary Pope Osborne, which is part of the popular Magic Tree House series. The next club meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 3 and will include crafts and activities to accompany the book discussion.
Parents of small children can bring them to storytime at the library at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and at 10:30 a.m. Wednesdays. The library is also offering "1,000 Books before Kindergarten," a program that encourages parents and caregivers to read to children of all ages. Incentives will be awarded for each reading milestone achieved, with a special award for those who read 1,000 times before kindergarten.
The library's adult book club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 16, to discuss "The Night Circus," by Erin Morgenstern. The Classics Book Club will discuss "I, Robot," by Isaac Asimov at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 21.

The library is also still hosting "Food for Fines", a fine forgiveness program that runs through the end of March. Bring unexpired, non-perishable food items to the library to reduce library fines. The food donations will be delivered to local food pantries and for each item donated, $2 will be waived.
