A Moorhead man is accused in Clay County District Court of forcing a woman into his car, driving her to a rural area and assaulting her.
Raul Garcia, 24, 3521 Village Green Drive, is charged with false imprisonment, domestic assault, violating a no contact order and making terroristic threats.
According to court documents, on Aug. 14:
A woman told the Clay County Sheriff's Department that the night before Garcia had grabbed her as she left Foxes bar in Moorhead and forced her into his car.
The woman said Garcia drove her into rural Clay County, stopping several times.

Each time he stopped, Garcia struck her repeatedly in the head, the woman said.
After parking in a field, Garcia told the woman to get out of the vehicle and walk home.
However, after telling her he had changed his mind, Garcia forced her back into the vehicle and drove her to her West Fargo home, the woman said.
