A Moorhead man has been accused of molesting a girl under age 13 in April.
Richard Meza Sanchez, 40, 1210 34th Ave. S., was charged in Clay County District Court with first-degree attempted criminal sexual conduct and two counts of second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
Police arrested Sanchez Monday. He is expected to make his first appearance in court today.
Court records say:
A girl told police she was dropped off at a home in south Moorhead April 3 after going to a movie with a friend.

The girl said that inside the home, Sanchez touched her inappropriately for five minutes.
She was able to reach a telephone and contact a relative, who notified the police.
Sanchez denied inappropriately touching the girl, who said she had been kissed and grabbed by him in the past.
If convicted, the attempted criminal sexual conduct charge against Sanchez carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.
The second-degree criminal sexual conduct charges both carry penalties of up to 25 years in prison and a $35,000 fine.
