MOORHEAD – A Moorhead man accused of sexually assaulting two girls under 10 years old was sentenced to nearly 14 years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday in Clay County District Court.

Jesse Roe Graham, 21,  pleaded  two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct with a person under age 13 and was sentenced to 13 years and 11 months for the first count and 12 years for the second count, to be served concurrently.

Graham originally pleaded not guilty to four counts of criminal sexual conduct in June after his arrest. After striking a plea deal, prosecutors dropped two lesser charges.

Graham touched the girls while babysitting, and documented the abuse with photographs, according to court documents. The girls’ father contacted Fargo police after his daughters told him about the assaults.

The girls’ mother cried quietly during the court proceedings and declined to make a victim impact statement.

Judge Michael Fritz ordered Graham to register as a predatory offender and prohibited Graham from owning firearms for life.
