Community supporters of an upcoming school levy vote in Moorhead are holding a phonathon today to get the word out about the Nov. 2 referendum.

Students, teachers and residents will call district voters with information about the $850-per-pupil levy vote, Moorhead's second attempt to pass such a school tax.

The phonathon is at 6 p.m. at the Probstfield Center for Education, 2410 14th St. S. Residents who would like to participate are invited to show up with their cell phones.

District officials will host the fourth of six community forums about the levy at 7 p.m. at Reinertsen Elementary School.
