MOORHEAD - Moorhead police are reminding people to use caution as students begin their first day of school today.
Moorhead police will be actively enforcing school speed zones and making sure motorists comply with crossing guards. Police remind motorists that it is illegal to pass a school bus that has flashing lights and its stop arm extended.
Police also will be enforcing cellphone, texting and seat belt laws. Fines in Minnesota start at $125.
