Moorhead Mayor Mark Voxland proclaimed Friday Roland Barden Appreciation Day in honor of the Minnesota State University Moorhead president, who will retire July 1.
The proclamation recognizes Barden's service as MSUM president for the past 14 years and states that he was instrumental in improving the campus and enhancing the school's partnership with the city.
