MOORHEAD - Moorhead Public Service is urging customers to conserve water to ease the burden on the sanitary and storm sewer systems, which are now operating above capacity.
MPS plans to provide electric and water services to customers throughout the flood and will provide updates on the status of its electric and water systems as needed. If a decision is made to disconnect power or shut the water off in a section of Moorhead affected by flooding, MPS will issue a release through the media.
