MOORHEAD - Moorhead Public Schools is now conducting registration for students new to the district.

Elementary-age students grades kindergarten through five should register at the school the child will attend or at the office of the assistant superintendent, Probstfield Center for Education, 2410 14th St. S.

For more information about registration or to learn which school their child will attend, parents can call the assistant superintendent's office at (218) 284-3370.

• To enroll kindergarten students in Kinder Plus, an extended-day program offered through Moorhead Community Education, parents should contact Community Education at (218) 284-3400 for more information or to register. Online registration is available by following the links at https://communityed.moorhead.k12.mn.us .

• Horizon Middle School registration for students in grades six to eight will be from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in the school counseling office, 3601 12th Ave. S. New student tours also will be given Wednesday. For more information, call the Horizon counseling office at (218) 284-7312 or the main office at (218) 284-7300.

• New student registration at Moorhead High School will be Monday through Aug. 23. Call the school registrar's office at (218) 284-2400 or the counseling office at (218) 284-2312 to schedule an appointment.

• Registration for the Red River Area Learning Center is from noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday and Aug. 22, as well as Aug. 27 by appointment. Call (218) 284-2200 for more information.
