MOORHEAD - The city of Moorhead is accepting applicants for the Community Development Block Grant which allows qualifying homeowners to make improvements to their homes with federally funded loans.
Moorhead homeowners who qualify for the zero percent interest and no monthly payment loan are required to repay the loan upon moving out or selling the home.
Applicants will likely receive funding for projects in 2018, although funding for projects may not be awarded until 2019. Money may be used for safety improvements, general housing preservation improvements and energy efficiency upgrades.
