MOORHEAD – The Minnesota Department of Transportation has closed the Red River Weigh Station on Interstate 94 east of here for improvements to the scale equipment and pavement repair. The weigh station will reopen in early October.
The project is part of MnDOT's statewide effort to improve all six of its fixed weigh stations. Last year, improvements were made to the St. Croix station. The remaining four stations are located at Saginaw, Dayton Port, Erskine and Worthington.
