MOORHEAD - A 34-year-old Moorhead woman is in custody after being arrested Friday for driving under the influence of prescription drugs with her 12-year-old daughter in the car.
Charges filed Tuesday in Clay County District Court state that a Clay County sheriff's deputy pulled over a car being driven by Alonna Jean Rohrich traveling east on Highway 10 toward Hawley after the deputy observed the car swerving within its lane.
An initial breath test in-dicated no presence of alcohol, documents state, but Rohrich allegedly failed other sobriety tests. The deputy then found 54 pills of clonazepan and a small baggie of marijuana on Rohrich's person, and more than 450 pills of clonazepan and other prescription drugs in the car.
Rohrich is charged with eight counts of drug- and traffic-related offenses.
