FARGO - Fresh off a monthly record in December, another round of snow is expected to fall on the region this weekend.
The National Weather Service in Grand Forks, N.D., said Fargo-Moorhead could get 1 to 3 inches of snow tonight and 2 to 4 inches Saturday.
Subzero temperatures should give way to slightly warmer air today, with a high near 8 degrees. A north wind will shift to the east as wind chill values could be as low as 23 below.
Most snow is expected after midnight.
On Saturday, more snow is forecast after noon as the high temperature nears 11 degrees.

The weather service said snow will move into all of eastern North Dakota by tonight and possibly become heavy. Drifting and blowing snow is possible, especially in open areas.
Last month, a record 33.5 inches of snow fell in Fargo - the most in any month in recorded history.
