HARWOOD - Cass County Vector Control plans to spray for mosquitoes at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Harwood, weather permitting.
The insecticides used have been found non-toxic to humans and pets. The product is toxic to bees, however. If you come into direct contact with the product, wash thoroughly as a precaution.
Cass County employees will stop the sprayers if residents or pets are in the vicinity, so people are asked to move indoors to help with the timely treatment of their area.
The treatment will proceed if the temperature is at least 58 degrees and the wind speed is between 1 to 10 mph.
