FARGO - Weather permitting, trucks will be spraying for mosquitos starting at 8 p.m. Thursday, July 6, in Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead and metro area subdivisions, the Cass County Vector Control Board said in a news release.

According to the board, the active ingredient in the insecticide spray is either permethrin, resmethrin or etofenprox. All have been found not to be harmful to people or pets, the board said.
