MOORHEAD - An Oakport man sustained a head injury and abrasions after a motorcycle collision with a deer Monday.
Daniel Sauvageau was riding his motorcycle on 70th Avenue North in Moorhead when the accident occurred.
"I don't think I hit him that hard," he said. "It nailed me on the side and pushed me in the ditch."
Clay County Sheriff Bill Bergquist said Sauvageau sustained a head injury when he fell.
Sauvageau said his head was the hardest part of his body and that he was "alive and well."

He declined to go to the hospital.
