FARGO - A man was injured tonight when the motorcycle he was driving was struck by a car on South University Drive.
The accident occurred when a car left the right lane and struck the motorcycle in the left lane, said police Sgt. Chris Helmick. It was unclear whether the car was merging or turning left onto Third Avenue South from the right lane, Helmick said.
The driver was taken to MeritCare Hospital in Fargo with non-life-threatening injuries.
Names of the driver and victim were not immediately available.
Helmick said he does expect police to cite the driver of the car, but the accident was still under investigation.
