MOORHEAD - Minnesota State University Moorhead will award degrees to about 430 students during its fall commencement program at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, in the university's Nemzek Fieldhouse.
Christopher Johnson, executive director of the Rape and Abuse Crisis Center in Fargo, will be the commencement speaker. Johnson earned a bachelor's degree in social work from MSUM, a master's of social work from the University of Minnesota and a doctor of philosophy in education with a focus on institutional analysis from North Dakota State University.
Parking will be open in all university lots on commencement day. Lots will not be ticketed the day of the ceremony. Street parking will be available as posted.
