MSUM hosts naturalization ceremony Sept. 12

MOORHEAD — Minnesota State University Moorhead will host a naturalization ceremony at 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom, located at 14th Street South and 6th Avenue South.

The U.S. District Court, District of Minnesota, will naturalize about 100 new citizens from more than 30 countries during the ceremony. Chief Judge Michael E. Ridgway will preside.

At the ceremony, Ralf Mehnert-Meland, faculty in the MSUM Paseka School of Business, will speak on what naturalization has meant to him.

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available in Lot G-1, on the corner of 14th Street and 9th Avenue South.
