MSUM students to present candidates

The MSUM Student Senate will host an open forum showcasing the candidates for the upcoming Moorhead City Council elections from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the main lounge of the student union.

The MSUM Student Senate will host an open forum showcasing the candidates for the upcoming Moorhead City Council elections from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday in the main lounge of the student union.

Candidates attending include Nancy Otto and Tammie Yak from the 1st Ward; Barry K. Chouinard, Diane Wray Williams, Alexander Ellsworth and Larry Nicholson from the 2nd Ward; and Greg Lemke from the 4th Ward.

The candidates will answer questions from the audience to help residents decide who to elect as their next representatives. Moorhead city elections will be Nov. 6.

The open forum is free and open to the public.
