MSUM to present MLK program

Minnesota State University Moorhead will present "Sustaining the Dream of Dr. King: How Will You Keep the Dream Alive?" at 1 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

Minnesota State University Moorhead will present "Sustaining the Dream of Dr. King: How Will You Keep the Dream Alive?" at 1 p.m. Jan. 23 in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom. The event is free and open to the public.

The featured speaker is Jermaine M. Davis, author of five books and CEO, founder and president of Seminars and Workshops, and Snack Attack Vending of Minnesota.

Davis has also taught elementary-age homeless youth, and is currently a professor of communication studies at Century College, White Bear Lake, Minn.

Davis grew up in the Chicago housing projects and was raised in a single-parent home with three siblings.

After losing six family members to street violence, he began studying success principals to change the direction of his life.
