North Dakota boats displaying a blue registration decal have an expired license, reminds Ray Goetz, chief of enforcement for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, and owners can now expect citations if their license is not current.
The current registration, which runs from Jan. 1, 2002, through Dec. 31, 2004, is a red decal. Boat registrations with a blue decal expired Dec. 31, 2001.
