The North Dakota Highway Patrol's southeast region will conduct special emphasis days today and Thursday targeting speeders.
There have been 81 fatal crashes in 2007 on state highways as of Tuesday, a news release said. Thirty-five of those crashes involved speeders or people driving too fast for road conditions.
