Naked man found dead on Fertile, Minn., golf course

FERTILE, Minn.

FERTILE, Minn. – The naked body of an man was found Monday afternoon by Polk County law enforcement dispatched to Sand Hill River Golf Course near Fertile, Minn.

The man was believed to be unconscious at the time of the call, according to a news release from the Polk County Sheriff's Office.

A dispatcher reached Monday night said no further details about the incident are available at this time, including whether or not foul play could be a possibility.

The man was declared dead at the scene by medical personnel and taken to UND's forensic lab for an autopsy to determine cause of death. The news release notes the man was identified by law enforcement, but his identity is being withheld until family has been notified.
