DAZEY, N.D. – Highway Patrol officials have released the name of a Casselton man who died in a rollover crash east of here on Saturday.
North Dakota Highway Patrol Sgt. Adam Dvorak said Christopher Weller, 30, was headed west on Highway 26 at about 8:46 p.m. Saturday when he lost control of his 2007 Chevy Silverado in the blowing snow about 7 miles east of here.
The Silverado went into the south ditch, vaulted off an intersecting township road, rolled and came to rest upside down.
Weller was pinned inside the pickup. His passenger, Brent Siverson, 33, of Casselton, was ejected from the truck and died at the scene.
Weller was taken to Sanford Hospital in Fargo for his injuries.

Neither man was wearing his seat belt, and alcohol was a factor in the crash, Dvorak said.
The crash remains under investigation.
