WATFORD CITY, N.D. - North Dakota Highway Patrol officials have released the names of the pedestrian and the driver involved in a fatal crash near here Tuesday.
North Dakota Highway Patrol officials said Jason Saran, of Tucson, Ariz., was headed west on Highway 23 in a 2009 Kenworth semi truck Tuesday at about 1:30 p.m. when it hit pedestrian Benjamin Enterman, of Warner Robins, Ga. near Mile Post 12.
Enterman, 20, was in the westbound lane on Highway 23 taking measurement on and along the highway for an engineering company, officials said.
Enterman died at the scene.
Saran, 37, was not hurt in the crash.
