The North Dakota PTA's state convention and family expo is Friday and Saturday in Fargo.
The theme of this year's convention is wellness: nutrition, physical activity, emotional well-being, family life and positive social interaction.
Events will include a roundtable discussion with a national PTA representative, a North Dakota PTA business meeting and learning sessions for students and parents.
A PTA Reflections celebration is planned from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Ramada Plaza and Suites. The event will celebrate the Reflections program, which challenges students to create a work of art inspired by a specific theme. Tickets are $15, with proceeds benefiting Reflections programs in PTA schools across North Dakota.
