Erik Peterson and Kate Effertz were crowned North Dakota State University homecoming king and queen Friday at the Blue Key Homecoming Show in NDSU's Festival Concert Hall.
Peterson is a senior mechanical engineering major from Olivia, Minn. He was sponsored by the NDSU Bison Ambassadors.
Effertz is a senior agricultural economics major from Bismarck. She was sponsored by Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
Other members of the NDSU homecoming court are: Luke Brisk, Neal Coolong, Paul Leverington, Jerame Novak, Travis Skonseng, Melissa Benson, Erika Hodgson, Meghan Jackson, Laura Nyre and Jessica Solberg.
The coronation was sponsored by the Bison Ambassadors.
