FARGO - Chris Boerboom has been appointed interim director of the North Dakota State University Extension Service.
Boerboom had been serving as a NDSU Extension Service assistant director for agriculture and natural resources and district director for five southeastern counties.
He succeeds Duane Hauck, who retired after 35 years working for the NDSU Extension Service.
NDSU officials plan to do a search for a permanent director.
