FARGO - The National Science Foundation has awarded more than $2.6 million to North Dakota State University to improve science, technology, engineering and math education, strengthen faculty teaching skills and increase student learning outcomes.

The funds will be used to support the Gateways-ND program, which works to improve student learning by incorporating an innovative model for the professional development of instructional staff and faculty at the college level.
