FARGO - A public lecture addressing the beginnings of the American conservation movement is set for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, at Minard Hall, room 230, at North Dakota State University.
Char Miller, a professor of environmental analysis at Pomona College in Claremont, Calif., will present "Theodore Roosevelt, Gifford Pinchot, and When the Republicans Were Green."
Miller has authored several books and is a senior fellow at the Pinchot Institute for Conservation and a fellow of the Forest History Society.
