Nancy Nettum and Deirdre Chandler have been promoted to postmasters at Nielsville, Minn., and Shelly, Minn., respectively.
Both will be responsible for customer service functions including retail operations and delivery of mail in the city and rural areas.
Nettum has worked four years for the U.S. Postal Service. She previously served as officer in charge in Buxton, N.D., and also worked in the Shelly, and Climax, Minn., offices.
Chandler also owns Classic Images Photography Studio, Shelly, and began her career with the postal service in 2000. She previously served as postmaster at Gardner, N.D., officer in charge in Halstad, Minn., and as human resources specialist for the Dakotas district.
