Motorists traveling on Fargo's South University Drive began using a newly constructed bypass Friday near 52nd Avenue South, according to the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
A four-way stop is now in place at the intersection, and north-south traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction. The speed limit is posted at 20 mph.
Because of the high volume of traffic at this intersection, delays are expected.
