A garage fire caused $80,000 in damage Sunday morning in south Fargo.

The Fargo Fire Department responded to a call at 5:35 a.m. for a fire at the home of Tim Rezac, 1814 23rd Ave. S.

A paper delivery person saw flames coming out of the front of a two-stall attached garage and banged on the house's windows.

Everyone inside the home and the dog were able to get out unharmed, fire officials say.

The damage was limited to the garage and two vehicles inside, with only light smoke inside the house.
