The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services has set up a hotline for citizens who have sustained flood damage to their homes.
The purpose of the hotline is to find out the scale of flood damaged homes in the state.
The number is (877) 212-0316. Hotline hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Callers will be directed through a series of simple questions, and the call only takes a few minutes. Those impacted will also be referred to volunteer agencies that can provide necessary assistance.
The hotline is for residents with home damage only. It does not include damage to businesses, outbuildings and yards or sidewalks.
