The North Dakota Department of Human Services' Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program has recognized the six East Region social service staffs from Cass, Grand Forks, Pembina, Steele, Traill and Walsh counties with the Conrad J. Moe Award.
The award recognizes the counties and their employees for achieving the highest SNAP accuracy rate in 2009.
Named for the state's first program administrator, a traveling trophy is awarded to the top performing region each year and is based upon quality control case file review results. North Dakota has six administrative regions.
The department's regional representative, Diane Knauf, and the department's quality control reviewers, Mike Schlenker and Kelly Buckingham, also received recognition certificates.
