Deadline for entering the annual North Dakota Governor's Photo Contest is Sept. 15.
Winners of the contest, which is open to any amateur photographer who lives in North Dakota, each receive a $100 prize and will be featured in North Dakota tourism marketing materials.
Photographs will be judged on their ability to showcase North Dakota as a "legendary" destination.
Mail entries to North Dakota Department of Commerce, Tourism Division, Attn: Heather LeMoine, Box 2057, Bismarck, N.D. 58502-2057. Photographs will not be returned. Photos must be submitted on a compact disc and 5-by-7-inch or 8-by-10-inch print. E-mailed photos will not be accepted. Only color photographs are eligible.
