Nighttime closings on northbound Interstate 29 will begin tonight and last through Sunday morning so workers can demolish the current eastbound Interstate 94 bridge over I-29. Southbound I-29 was closed earlier this week for the same purpose.
The nighttime closings for both lanes will be from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Northbound traffic will be detoured east on I-94 to 25th Street, over the bridge and back on westbound I-94 to the northbound I-29 ramp.
Southbound traffic has been detoured to westbound I-94, where it will exit at 45th Street, go south to the loop ramp for eastbound I-94 and on to the southbound I-29 exit.
