Residents of Oakport Township north of Moorhead can buy mosquito larvicide briquettes at cost from the township.
Briquettes are to be placed in areas of standing water. Each briquette covers approximately 100 square feet of standing water and is formulated to release effective levels of protection for up to 30 days.
Briquettes are $1.25 each and can be purchased by calling township supervisors Greg Anderson at 287-2101 or (701) 238-6548 or Bruce Fleury at 233-5531 or (701) 371-2044.
