VALLEY CITY, N.D. - An Ohio man was killed when his sport utility vehicle rear-ended a farm truck on Interstate 94 just west of Valley City, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
Brian Beck, 40, of Gahanna, Ohio, was westbound in a 2000 Jeep Wrangler about 3:05 p.m. Friday when the SUV rear-ended a 1974 International three-axle farm truck and rolled, coming to rest on its passenger side, the patrol said.
The truck's driver, Ronald F. Winkler, 76, of Oriska, N.D., was not hurt.
Beck was wearing his seat belt, the patrol said.
