Ombudsman system topic of meeting

The North Dakota Department of Human Services and local area long-term care facilities will hold an information meeting on the Ombudsman Program and the Senior Info-Line from 7 to 8 p.m. April 2 in Bethany Homes, 201 S. University Drive, Fargo.

Long-term care ombudsmen are specially trained to help residents of nursing, basic care and assisted living facilities by providing them with information about their rights and assisting in resolving problems.

An ombudsman and staff members from local facilities will be available to answer questions about long-term care issues and options available in the area.
