Little Cormorant Lake, Minn. — A boat caught fire on Little Cormorant Lake Saturday afternoon, Aug. 10, and one person was airlifted for treatment of injuries that are not life threatening.

A dispatcher told The Forum that the Becker County Sheriff's Office responded to the lake at 12:47 p.m., but would not say how many people were on the boat. The unidentified injured person was airlifted to an undisclosed location, according to dispatch.

The cause of the fire has not been released.
