Several organizations will hold the Hunger in the Heartland Conference Oct. 13 and 14 in the Holiday Inn, 1210 43rd St. N., Grand Forks, N.D.
The conference will highlight efforts to deal with food insecurity in North Dakota and feature various speakers throughout the two days. The event is in conjunction with World Food Day.
Conference sponsors include the North Dakota Department of Agriculture, Red River Valley Community Action and the North Dakota State University Extension Service.
